I came up with this concept for a potters tool box while studying ceramics. I needed to transport my tools regularly and wanted a wooden tool box rather than a generic plastic tradesman toolbox.

I was inspired by the old fashioned toolboxes and together with a very talented woodworker, came up with this specialised potters version.

Made from lightweight wood, these boxes are all handmade in Byron Bay. They have four compartments on either end, perfect for holding trimming tools, ribs, sponges, paint brushes, even your mobile phone! The middle section is left open for bottles of slip, glaze etc.

The boxes are easy to clean with a damp cloth.
